Meet Carlos Marquez

FOUNDATION: The foundational principles of “Under Promise” and “ Over Deliver”, is what the Marquez Team is built upon. These core values have been developed and practiced by Carlos Marquez, through out his 28+ year real estate career.

FAMILY: Carlos & Georgia have been happily married for over 40 years and are blessed with a wonderful family. Their son Charlie and his wife Julie, daughter Christina and her husband Steve, all live within 10 minutes of Carlos and Georgia’s home. They have 5 beautiful grandchildren Veronica, Ethan, Elijah, Zion, & Jeremiah. Carlos’ mother, father, two brothers and two sisters, plus 11 nieces and nephews also live nearby making Carlos & Georgia's home the central meeting place for all the family get-togethers.

 WORK ETHIC: Carlos comes from a hard working family that taught him the satisfaction of a job well done; this lesson was permanently forged in the jungles of Viet Nam. During the construction of a crucial 20-mile supply road Carlos lead his make shift survey crew in support of two earth-moving companies. Working just ahead of the companies, under hostile conditions, Carlos and his crew continued to work at the highest level of performance, laying out the new road until the day he was ordered back to base camp. It was time to go home, he had completed his one-year tour of duty plus a 3-month extension. For meritorious service and outstanding performance,  Carlos was awarded the Army Commendation Medal.

 COMMUNITY SERVICE:  Carlos’ love for children led him to serve as a summer camp counselor, high school Sunday school teacher, and church youth director for 8 years. In the birthing of a new church Carlos represented the church as their real estate agent, architect, and spokesman with the city-planning department. Serving as a working foreman, Carlos and an all-volunteer crew rolled up their sleeves and spent a year and half completing the church; in which he later served as the assistant and youth pastor for two years.
